About

Sara lives and works in regional far north Queensland. She is a playwright, performer, art therapist and stage manager. 

Her career spans 20 years and includes acting, writing for performance, freelance writing, journalism, community arts facilitation, teaching, technical design and management, stage management, and event management. Sara is also a trained drama teacher and a qualified art therapist.

After completing initial training at QUT in Brisbane (Bachelor of Drama), Sara went on to complete a Dip Ed (Secondary) and an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy. Sara has previously served on the Just Us Theatre Ensemble (JUTE) board of directors in Cairns as their Youth Representative.

She has a Working with Children (Blue) Card and has full professional and public liability insurance. As well as her arts work, she also runs a mobile food van (www.fireflyfoods.com.au)
