News! Sara will be pitching at this year's APAX Performing Arts Exchange being held in August-September, Cairns, Far North Queensland. This event is a national market and professional development gathering involving 450 performing arts workers.
It's aim is to develop tours and cultivate relationships to deliver presentations for communities and audiences all over Australia.
Sara, with the support of the Local Giants program and Regional Arts Services Network, will be pitching her new play-in-development, Chinese Market Garden (working title). The idea is to meet with and talk with theatre companies and producers from all over Australia, in particular those representing Asian-Australian performing arts companies and events. Sara aims to develop the relationships made through APAX to produce Chinese Market Garden within the next 2-4 years.
This means a premier in North Queensland, and tours to southern theatres and festivals. Woo hoo! Stay up to date with this project by subscribing to Sara's website (from Homepage or the bottom of this page).
